I have done different things in my life. From booking concerts to transporting pizza to professionally staring at Slack.

I once booked Aaron Carter (RIP), have dropped a pizza at a customer’s door, and have used a teddy bear with glasses staring at a MacBook as my Slack pic for a decade. It explains me better than my face does.
I recently received an email from Google telling me that my email I setup for my project where I rated an album on if I’d rather spend money to buy the album or a burrito was being deleted.
So I was jamming before streaming but I was also in the US beta for Spotify before Ek went military-industrial complex.
My top artist of the last many years:
I started listening to Thievery Corporation to go to sleep and did that… for a while. Listen to The Richest Man in Babylon, skip the first two songs.

The first physical media of music I ever received was a cassette for the Christian boy band Plus One, and the first secular song I remember loving was “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani.
I keep a folder in my files called “mems” with subfolders for each of the people I love, with photos and screenshots and such as we go along. You should too.
You can go back and look a couple years later and say “oh yeah” and remind your little brother he once sent you a picture of a lunar eclipse that looked like a Cheeto.

Many of the projects on this site are things I couldn’t find online myself. Or things I thought could be done better. Or a Wikipedia article spoke to me. Or, like Russell Westbrook says, “WHY NOT?”
I enjoy writing things, so feel free to check out Notes or subscribe. It’s not consistent, but it’ll find you at some point.
Most importantly, please leave the big light off.
It was usually burritos.
